have all drawn their musical experience from playing with the some of the best groups in San Diego before joining forces. They have a reputation for excellence. Performing everywhere from nightclubs to weddings and corporate events, K a l a y a a n loves to play them all. Eddie Garcia
(Keys, Vocals)
The youngest member of the group, has been playing keys for over 10 years. He has mastered the styling of Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B. His smooth melody-making abilities are accompanied by a soulful voice; it is a sexy combination with romantic results. This San Diego native has primarily played the South Bay circuit, and has also had the privilege of performing at Disneyland, Sea World and Six Flags Magic Mountain. |
Roman Beza
(Bass, Vocals)
Kalayaans only single member, Ro Ro is definitely an up and coming artist. When he slaps his bass and sings to the beat, he gets the party going and pours on the heat. Singing since age 7 and playing bass since 1989, he has performed thoughout southern California including San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. Ro Ro's credits include several TV appearances in the Philippines where he played with a well-known group in the Philippines called Hot Dog. His talents also include songwriting and producing. Works from his CD released in 1998 have been played on Z90's Local Jams. He is currently working on a solo album that will truly exhibit his unique singing and playing style. |

Lisa V Bayungan

With a heavy gospel background, she has conquered the San Diego Contest Arena winning multiple titles such as Entertainer of the Year and the Peoples Choice - Artist of the Year. She has covered the San Diego circuit. Other cities include: Los Angeles & Palm Springs, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Vale, CO; Seattle, WA; Austin & San Antonio, TX; Branson, MO; Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando & Coco Beach, FL; & parts of Mexico. Over Seas -Hong Kong & Macau, China & the Bahamas. |
Frank Sanchez
(Guitar, Vocals)
This self-taught musician has been dazzling audiences with his gift for flair for over 10 years. Influenced by all the greats from Jimi Hendrix to Carlos Santana, he fine-tuned his skills playing first in the Top 40 band Perspective Image, for six years then transitioned to Hard Rock with Live 2 Tell for six years. His forte covers Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B. Frank is fun and funky and he loves the stage. His swift and creative guitar solos are meant to both be seen and heard.

Romeo Valero
(Drums, Vocals)
With over twenty-five years of experience, Romeo can play it all and how! He has performed at all the major hotels, organizations and associations around San Diego including the Bachanal. Some of Romeo's inspirations include Tower of Power and Earth, Wind and Fire. The backbone of every good band weighs on the ability of the drummer to drive the group with energy while keeping good time - When Romeo plays every body has a good time! No body does it better. |
